These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the NEET Codex mobile application (“NEET Codex”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, “our”), owned and operated by Shiv Manishkumar Patel, a sole proprietor trading as “NEET Codex”.
By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility and parental consent
By using NEET Codex, you confirm that:
- you are 18 years of age or older; or
- if you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, consents to your use of the app, and authorises any payments or subscriptions made through your account.
You also confirm that you are entitled to use the phone number associated with your account.
If you are a parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of a minor, you accept these Terms on their behalf and take responsibility for their use of the app.
2. Your account
To use NEET Codex you create an account using phone-number (OTP) verification. You are responsible for:
- keeping your account and login secure;
- providing accurate information during onboarding;
- all activity that occurs under your account.
You may hold one account for your personal use. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
NEET Codex offers free content and optional paid subscriptions.
- Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play using their in-app purchase systems. We do not bill you directly.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled, at the price and billing period shown to you at the time of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID / App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. Because we do not process payments directly, we are generally unable to issue refunds ourselves.
Prices, plans, and features may change over time. Any change will apply to future billing periods, not retroactively.
4. Use of the app and content
The app, its question bank, explanations, tests, and all related content are provided for your personal, non-commercial study use only.
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, harvest, redistribute, resell, or publish the app’s questions, explanations, or content;

- share your account access with others or use the app to provide a paid service to third parties;
- use automated tools to access or extract content from the app;
- interfere with or disrupt the app’s operation or security.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and its content for your own study. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you.

You understand and agree that:
- AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies;

We are not liable for decisions you make based solely on AI-generated content.
7. No guarantee of results

8. Service availability
We aim to keep the app available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time, and we may update content as needed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, NEET Codex and Shiv Manishkumar Patel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including losses related to examination outcomes or reliance on AI-generated content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy, Section 7).
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the app, or attempt to harm its security, content, or other users.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat, India.
